Brisbane South Clinical Research Centre
BSCRC is a small, private Clinical Research Centre located at Carina Heights
on the southside of Brisbane, close to transport and amenities. It has been
established for 13 years.
Dr Maureen McKeirnan is the full-time Medical Director and is the Principal
Investigator for all projects. Her medical background is General Practice
with 37 years' experience. For the past 20 years Dr McKeirnan has been involved
in Clinical Research for the Pharmaceutical Industry, conducting clinical
trials ranging from Phase II to Phase IV. This has encompassed a broad range of
therapeutic areas such as cardio-vascular, respiratory (asthma and COPD),
endocrine and metabolic, influenza, anti-infectives, allergy, arthritis,
addictions (alcohol and smoking), chronic pain and several GI studies.
BSCRC has a good track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets. We
have had several Sponsor audits with excellent reports.
A fully-qualified nursing staff, experienced in clinical trials, assists in the
work of the Centre.
